Peter K. Gottfried serves as Vice President of Gannett Peak Energy & Environmental Services, Inc. and is the founder and President of Natural Systems Analysts, Inc. (NSA), an environmental consulting and geospatial technology firm established in 1985.

With more than 40 years of professional experience, Mr. Gottfried has worked at the intersection of energy, environmental science, natural resources, economic development, and business leadership. Early in his career, he served as an environmental scientist evaluating the impacts of coal mining and other energy-related development projects, developing expertise in environmental compliance, land and water resource management, reclamation, and natural resource planning. This background provides a strong technical foundation for his current work advancing innovative energy technologies and responsible resource development.

Mr. Gottfried also served with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) as Assistant District Administrator for the 33-county Mississippi District, where he worked on regional economic development, infrastructure planning, energy-related initiatives, public resource management, and community development programs. His TVA experience provided first-hand exposure to the relationship between energy production, economic growth, and public policy.

In addition to his private-sector and government experience, Mr. Gottfried served three terms as a City Commissioner for the City of Winter Park, Florida. During his tenure, he worked closely with citizens, businesses, and technical staff on issues involving environmental stewardship, stormwater management, comprehensive planning, land use, growth management, and long-range community development. This experience strengthened his appreciation for public participation and stakeholder engagement in the decision-making process and reinforced the importance of balancing economic development with environmental protection.

Since founding NSA in 1985, Mr. Gottfried has directed hundreds of environmental, GIS, floodplain management, natural resource, and planning projects for federal, state, tribal, local government, and private-sector clients throughout the United States. His expertise includes environmental permitting, habitat assessment, flood-prone area analysis, public lands monitoring, natural resource planning, geospatial technologies, and environmental due diligence.

Mr. Gottfried currently serves on the Wyoming Energy Resources Council and is Chairman of the Energy Policy Committee of the Wyoming Business Alliance. Through Gannett Peak Energy, he is helping advance the commercialization of innovative power generation technologies, including advanced coal-based energy systems and modular manufacturing concepts designed to strengthen Wyoming's role as a leader in energy production and technology development.

He is a Certified Environmental Professional (CEP), Certified GIS Professional (GISP), and Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM). Mr. Gottfried is also a licensed real estate broker in both Wyoming and Florida, providing specialized expertise in land acquisition, site development, and real estate transactions.

Mr. Gottfried holds dual citizenship in the United States and Mexico and brings an international perspective to energy development, advanced manufacturing, environmental stewardship, and business development initiatives.
